Box Football Website – General Terms & Conditions

 There is a 24 hour cancellation policy for all open sessions that are booked through Class for Kids. If you have given more than 24 hours notice, you can cancel your booking on your Class for Kids profile, by logging in and selecting the booking you want to cancel, you will then receive a full re-fund within 3-5 days. If you have tried to cancel and not given us the required 24 hour notice, unfortunately we will not be able to process your refund.Box Football Ltd and the hosts of this site accept no responsibility for and exclude all liability in connection with browsing this site, use of information on this site and downloading any material from it including but not limited to any liability for errors, inaccuracies, omissions or misleading or defamatory statements.

Whilst we hope you find the contents of this website interesting and informative, the contents are for general information only. We believe the contents to be true and accurate as at the date of writing but can give no assurances or warranty regarding the accuracy, currency or applicability of any of the contents in relation to specific situations and particular circumstances. Coaching Terms and Conditions –

Definitions

Session – means any Camp, Team session, Open session, 1 on 1, Event or Tournament organised and operated through any member of Box Football Limited (t/a Box Football Coaching)

Terms and Conditions – means the terms contained in this document and any other document referred to within it.

  • By taking part in any session with Box Football Limited (t/a Box Football Coaching) you are acknowledging your full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and confirm that you have not relied on any other representation other than those contained within these Terms and Conditions
  • The Box Football coaching team are fully qualified to FA/UEFA level and hold all the relevant qualifications as members of the FA licensed coaches club
  • Before attending please ensure your child can access the session and meets the conditions for such session as listed on our website

Complaints

  • In the unlikely event that you or your child are dissatisfied with the service we provide then please in the first instance raise it with the senior coach at the activity. He/she will deal will the problem in accordance with our policies and procedures
  • If the problem is not resolved to your satisfaction, then please write to our Academy Director damien@boxfootball.com within 7 days of your child’s attendance on the session
  • We take your views and complaints very seriously and will endeavour to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible. Refunds will only be issued if Box Football Limited (t/a Box Football Coaching) is proven to be in breach of these Terms &Conditions

   Child Welfare

  • Children under the age of thirteen are not to be left unaccompanied in the building. Once coaching sessions have finished on the pitch children are no longer under the supervision of Box Football coaches
  • Any child above the age of thirteen must be collected by a parent or guardian and such parent or guardian must be in the building to collect their child before the session ends. Box Football Limited (t/a Box Football Coaching) are not responsible for the supervision or care of players outside of the activity time. For any child that normally walks home unaccompanied from any activity a parent or guardian must provide a written consent prior to the commencement of the Activity
  • Box Football Coaching have adopted the FA safeguarding policies and procedures. Safeguarding matters can be reported to the designated welfare officer Damien Allen 07393195119. Or in cases that need immediate action Police 999 112 or 911/NSPCC helpline 08088005000

  Medical conditions

  • Any medical conditions that any participant may have must be fully disclosed (1) to the parent club who must then pass on to Box Football Limited (2) to the lead coach on the session. Failure to disclose medical conditions and management plans puts children and coaches at risk
  • Box Football coaches are first aid trained and have a duty of care whilst players train on the pitches. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are providing consent for Box Football Limited (t/a Box Football Coaching) to administer first aid to your child as required at any time. However, parents are responsible for the medical needs of their children and should ensure they bring with them any inhalers, epi pens and medicines required. Box Football Limited (t/a Box Football Coaching) are not permitted to stock medicines and coaches do not administer medicines
  • Box Football Limited (t/a Box Football Coaching) reserves the right to refuse permission to participate for any child failing to bring required medicines, inhalers, epi pens may result in your child be told they cannot take part in the session

Health and Safety

  • A full risk assessment has been carried out for children playing in our venue. This assessment is reviewed annually by the Academy Director
  • By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are providing consent for Box Football Limited (t/a Box Football Coaching) to administer first aid to your child as required at any time. This does not include administering medicines
  • For safety reasons it is compulsory for all attendees to wear shin pads and suitable footwear.Box Football Limited (t/a Box Football Coaching) reserves the right to refuse permission to participate for any child not wearing appropriate equipment
  • It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to ensure appropriate clothing is worn and/or available for their child for the session being undertaken and conditions
  • For safety reasons we prioritise a place on ANY session to those booking in advance. Those that arrive on the day will not be guaranteed a place on the session. We have a maximum capacity on pitches that must be adhered toPersonal Belongings
  • Box Football Limited (t/a Box Football Coaching) cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to any personal belongings whilst attending a session. Please ensure that no valuables are taken to any venue by your children.

Film/Photography

  • Box Football Coaching may from time to time take photographs/film of any activity, the use of this data is solely for the purpose of promoting and publicising our activities through our literature, website, press and TV
  • Parents/guardians that do not wish for their child to be photographed/filmed must make their Parent Club aware of this at the time of joining or in writing before the season starts
  • Box Football Coaching and Box Football Limited will hold all personal data in accordance with its Privacy Statement.

Pitch Hire General Terms and Conditions –

All bookings made via our site are subject to these terms and conditions and our Code of Conduct for players.

Price:

The price of each booking will be as quoted on our site at the time the payment for your booking is processed. We shall not be liable for any technical errors resulting in the an incorrect price being advertised.


Payment:

We use Global Payments, a third party payment specialist who are compliant with payment card industry data security standards (PCI DSS). Global Payments’ terms and conditions and privacy policy can be found on their website at  www.globalpaymentsinc.com/en-gb/privacy-statement

Our acceptance of pitch hire bookings will only take place when payment is processed, or, if earlier, when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract is formed between you and us.

If you have used a credit/debit card, full payment will be deducted from your credit/debit card at the time of making your reservation via our Website.

Please be aware that the credit or debit card used must also be shown when arriving at Box Football otherwise you will not be permitted to use the facilities.


Cancellations:

We reserve our right to cancel your booking and any future bookings with us if we are refused authority for payment or reasonably believe that payment will be refused at any stage.

We offer a minimum one week notice period on all booking for cancellations without charge. If your cancellation falls outside the one week notice period then full pitch price will remain payable. Failure to show up for a booking will result the full cost of the booking being charged to your credit/debit card.

All valid refunds are processed as quickly as possible however a 48 hour delay may occur.

Whilst it very rarely happens, we may cancel or amend your booking at any time due to unforeseen reasons. In this unlikely event we will refund your booking payment to your card in full, however we will not be liable for any costs, expenses or losses arising from such amendment or cancellation.

Use of the highlights-playback service ‘My Action Replay’ is subject to the terms of our Privacy Policy. If this service is requested, it is the Hirer’s responsibility to ensure all players are aware that the session may be recorded and to notify Box Football management if the consent of ALL players has not been given.


Weekly recurring pitch hire bookings

The payment plan for a recurring pitch hire booking consists of weekly charges of £80. Your debit/ credit card will be charged the weekly fee on the day of your pitch booking.

By making a weekly pitch hire booking, you acknowledge that your booking has both an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges until and unless your recurring booking is de-activated (see below).

Box Football will take payment from your payment card in accordance with these terms without further authorization from you, until and unless you provide prior notice that you have terminated this authorisation.

Postponement of 1 week’s pitch hire (e.g due to lack of numbers)

If you wish to postpone 1 week’s pitch hire, but return to your regular booking the next week, this can be done by contacting Box Football by phone 0161 441 5030 or email info@boxfootball.com at least 1 week before. In this event the weekly charge of £80 will be waived and your booking will recommence the week after.

The decision of Box Football management will be final in determining whether the terms of a one-off cancellation have been met. Box Football may also, at its discretion, cancel a recurring pitch booking in the event of repeated cancellations which result in burdensome administration, dispute and/or lost revenue.

Full cancellation/de-activation of your recurring booking;

You can deactivate your recurring booking at any time by emailing info@boxfootball.com or calling us on 0161 441 5030 to inform us of your intention to cancel your recurring booking. You must give at least 1 week notice prior to your next weekly booking must be given for you to avoid charges for that week.

All de-activations of a recurring booking will be confirmed by email, following which no further charges will be made. We reserve the right at our absolute discretion to cancel a recurring booking at any time without giving any reasons for our decision.

 

Children’s Parties – additional booking terms and conditions

 

Our acceptance of your booking will take place when your payment is processed, or, if earlier, when we e-mail you to accept it, at which point a contract is formed between you and us.

 

We will endeavour to attach a reference number to each booking, however, we take no responsibility for reservations that have not been confirmed with a booking reference. If you are unsure at any time in the reservation process as to whether your transaction has been completed, you should telephone Box Football to check that the transaction has been completed and to obtain your booking reference number.

 

Party Package & Price: 

Our party packages and prices and optional extras are quoted on our website and your selection will be confirmed with a confirmation email.

Box Football reserves the right to change its party packages and prices at any time.

 

Cancellations: 

We reserve our right to cancel your booking and any future bookings with us if we are refused authority for payment or reasonably believe that payment will be refused at any stage.

Covid Cancellations:

  • If Box Football is forced to closed due to a Government enforced lockdown either locally or nationally then we will offer a full refund for all party bookings which cannot take place

 

  • If Box Football is informed by a parent/booker that the party cannot go ahead due to the class having to self-isolate following a positive test result then we will offer the parent to reschedule the party to a new date/time after the self-isolation period, which can be up to two months after the original booking date, or a 50% refund of the original booking. We unfortunately will not be able to offer full refund as we are still open and so will not be eligible for any loss of income support grant and will have incurred costs to plan/prepare and staff the party.

Under normal non-covid circumstances:

If you need to cancel your party booking without charge you must provide a minimum of 30 clear days’ notice to Box Football.

In the event of a change of date request made with 21 or more days’ notice, we will offer you the chance to change the party booking to an alternative date, subject to availability. In the event of a cancellation request with anything less than 30 days’ notice, Box Football regrettably cannot offer a refund.

 

 

Changes to a Party Booking:

If you need to make number or package changes to a party booking, you must notify Box Football with a minimum of 7 clear days’ notice. Changes to party size can only be agreed provided that the minimum number of party guests is no less than 10 children and subject to Box Football confirming it has adequate facilities to accommodate any additional party guests.

 

Our party packages include either 12 or 16 children, if your party size is less than what is included in the package, you are still liable to pay the full package price.

 

Photography

From time to time Box Football staff members may take pictures and or videos for promotional purposes, if you do not want to appear in such photography, please notify us upon arrival. Please see our Privacy Notice for further details.

 

Holiday Training Camps – additional booking terms and conditions

Our acceptance of your booking will take place when your payment is processed, or, if earlier, when we e-mail you to accept it, at which point a contract is formed between you and us.

We will endeavour to attach a reference number to each booking, however, we take no responsibility for reservations that have not been confirmed with a booking reference. If you are unsure at any time in the reservation process as to whether your transaction has been completed, you should telephone Box Football to check that the transaction has been completed and to obtain your booking reference number.

 

Holiday Camp Prices:

Our Holiday Camp prices and any optional extras are quoted on our website and other promotional material and your selection will be confirmed with a confirmation email.

Box Football reserves the right to change its Holiday Camp packages and prices at any time. As much notice as possible will be given should any such changes occur.

 

Cancellation

We reserve our right to cancel your booking and any future bookings with us if we are refused authority for payment or reasonably believe that payment will be refused at any stage.

 

Changes to a Holiday Camp Booking

If you need to make changes to a party booking, you must notify Box Football with a minimum of 7 clear days’ notice.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

In the event of a cancellation request made with less than 14 days’ notice but with more than 7 clear days’ notice, we will offer you the chance to change the party booking to an alternative date, subject to availability. With anything less than 7 days’ notice, Box Football regrettably cannot offer a refund or transfer of your booking to an alternative date.

If your cancellation is made with less than 7 days’ notice then the full booking price will remain payable and no refunds or transfer to an alternative date will be possible. Failure to show up for a Holiday Camp booking will result the full cost of the booking being charged to your credit/debit card.

 

Photography

From time to time Box Football staff members may take pictures and or videos for promotional purposes, if you do not want to appear in such photography, please notify us upon arrival. Please see our Privacy Notice for further details.

 

Medical conditions or special requirements

If your child has any known medical conditions or special requirements then please let us know at the time of booking and in any case on arrival. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian of all players to notify Box Football of any medical conditions or special requirements in advance of them using our facilities.

When booking online you should notify Box Football of your child’s medical conditions or special requirements in the notes section which is on the booking page. If you have management plans and further details which we require then please email them to info@boxfootball.com

Code of Conduct: All players must adhere to the Player Code of Conduct outlined below

 

This code of conduct is for the benefit of all players, customers and employees of Box Football to make it the most positive experience for everyone

  • Aggressive and/or violent behavior towards other players or members of staff will not be tolerated
  • Foul and abusive language will not be tolerated on or off the pitches
  • All players should behave in a responsible and considerate manner whilst using any of the facilities within the venue
  • Box Football is NO SMOKING venue. Anyone found smoking will be suspended from using the facilities
  • Abuse of the facilities will not be tolerated will not be tolerated. Any abuse of the facilities will result in that player being suspended from Box Football
  • Players and customers will be expected to dispose of their litter (drinks bottle etc) responsibly. Please show consideration to the booking taking place after yours and leave the pitches in a state you would expect to find it
  • Consideration must be given to our neighboring business when parking vehicles. Please use designated parking pays for ‘Box Football’ at the front and to the left-hand side of the building

This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site, expressing an interest in making a pitch or party booking, making a booking, subscribing to the services we provide through our websites and other channels, following one of our social media accounts, requesting further information or material, managing your personal details (including accessing documentation and engaging in correspondence with us by phone, email or otherwise). If you complete any surveys that we request you complete for research purposes or enter any free prize draw, we will collect information in such circumstances as well. The information you give us will typically include your name, address, email address and phone number(s), and may include records of any correspondence and responses to marketing campaigns.
